Fellow Ethera member Dr. Marta Long, MD, will be offering a community acupuncture session for health professionals who work at Ethera. Community acupuncture is acupuncture in a group setting, like group therapy! Acupuncture will be limited to the ear only (no body), and the treatment she offers is designed to relieve stress. This is a great way to be introduced to the benefits of acupuncture for mental wellness.
What to expect?
Dr. Long will use aseptic technique to apply 6 small needles to your ear, leave them in place for 20 minutes, then remove them.
*If the thought of needles is too much, then we can use “seeds” which are not needles and do not pierce the skin.
About Dr. Long:
Dr. Long received her education at Yale University School of Medicine, and trained and worked at Yale New Haven Hospital. She brings her expertise and experience to Irvine, launching her high touch private concierge practice for those who need more attentive, dedicated care. In addition to a comprehensive evaluation and detailed physical exam, Dr. Long offers medical acupuncture, IV fluids and medications, and dispenses antibiotics to save you a trip to the pharmacy when you are ill.
